Sean Edwards | Chair

Sean Edwards is a native Oregonian and is active in the Portland community. Sean is currently the Credit Products Manager at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he helps lead a team of credit professionals that focus on banking and credit needs of upper-middle market companies headquartered in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to his current role, Sean worked in various commercial banking roles for Washington Mutual and Bank of the West in Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco. Sean is also the Vice-Chair and Treasurer of the Board of Directors at the United Way of the Columbia Willamette and previously was on the boards of CODA, Inc. and the YWCA of Greater Portland. Sean holds a BS in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and a minor in Macro-Economic Policy from Oregon State University. In his spare time, Sean is an avid golfer, cyclist, and craftsman.

Brad Houle, CFA, is a portfolio manager and member of Ferguson Wellman’s firm’s fixed income team and manages the firm’s REIT investment strategy and the consumer staples sector internationally. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Houle spent 17 years with Davidson Investment Advisors as co-portfolio manager for their equity income and intermediate-term fixed income strategies. Houle graduated with honors from the University of Montana with a B.S. in Business Finance and completed his M.B.A. in Business Finance from the University of Oregon. He has been a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Society of Portland since 1999 and serves on the Board of Directors for Northwest District Association and SE Works. Houle and his wife and their daughter enjoy traveling and exploring Portland in their free time.

Don is Chief Financial Officer for the Singleton Group, a single family office. His responsibilities include: investment management, estate planning, charitable giving, income taxes, risk management, and financial statement preparation and analysis. He is a CPA and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Don received a B.S. degree in Business from Indiana University and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University. He is an active volunteer classroom presenter for Financial Beginnings. Don lives with his wife Julie in Bend, Oregon where in their spare time they enjoy skiing and hiking. 



   

Jim Hunt

Jim Hunt is currently the Chief Financial Officer of OnPoint Community Credit Union. He oversees the accounting and finance areas of Oregon’s largest credit union. Before joining OnPoint, he was a Senior Vice President in the Treasury group at Washington Mutual. He previously held positions as that company’s Senior Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis and First Vice President, Corporate Development. Prior to that, Jim spent 14 years within the Finance division of Fleet Mortgage Group, a company that was acquired by and subsequently merged with Washington Mutual. Jim is also a CPA licensed in the state of Oregon and a CFA charterholder. In his spare time Jim enjoys reading and working in the yard. He and his family live in Portland.  



   

Jackie Henderson

Jackie is the Vice President of Human Resources for Rivermark Community Credit Union in Beaverton, OR, and has worked in the field of human resources for 18 years. She is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resources Management and holds an SPHR Certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute. Jackie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Ashford University, and has received advanced education from Penn State University and the University of Wisconsin. She serves on the CUNA HR/Organizational Development Executive Council, as well as several committees for the NWCUA. Jackie has chaired many Relay for Life events in both Wisconsin and Oregon. She is married to Michael, and has one adult son, Bill (Lyndsey) and two grandchildren, Liam and Lyla.  



   

Amanda Brown

Amanda serves as Associate Director, Wealth Advisory for several Threshold clients and has been working in financial services for about ten years. In her current role, she helps clients and their service teams with cash management, accounting and tax issues, investment advisory services, wealth/financial education and coordination of estate planning. Amanda joined Threshold in 2013 and previously served as Associate Relationship Manager with Lazard Wealth Management, LLC in New York City. Prior to her time at Lazard, she spent six years with CTC Consulting, LLC in Portland, Oregon managing ultra-high net worth family relationships. She enjoys travel and photography in her free time.

Amy is the Chief Administrative Officer for U.S. Bank’s Community Banking and Branch Delivery business line and has enjoyed a variety of roles during her 19 year tenure. She is known for her relentless focus on the customer, her willingness to challenge the status quo and her ability to lead highly skilled cross-functional teams to deliver culture-changing results. Amy received her B.S. in Finance and Management from the University of Oregon and is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. She has also served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest since 2010. Amy lives with her family in Portland, and in her spare time enjoys gardening, reading and occasionally golfing. 



   

Heidi Sexton
